Shenhan Metal Products Factory is mainly responsible for Baosteel's cold-rolled packaging product processing and production tasks. Prior to this, each production of an internal angle steel used for cold-rolled product packaging by Shenhan Plant required four production processes such as Kaiping, shearing, bending, and forming to be performed on four sets of units, respectively, with long processing and production cycles, and risk management. In order to change this situation, Shen Han plant mobilized experienced technicians and operators to form a research team to transform old equipment. The team members overcome various difficulties and designed a “trinity” internal angle steel unit with shearing, bending, and forming functions, and selected professional machinery and equipment manufacturers to jointly manufacture the internal angle steel units. After the unit was put into operation, not only the production efficiency was increased by 30%, the logistics in the factory was streamlined, but also the safety management level was effectively improved.
